Las Vegas — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of a restaurant asset located in Las Vegas. A private family trust acquired the asset from a private investor for $3.8 million. Todd Manning of Marcus & Millichap’s Las Vegas office represented the seller in the deal. IHOP occupies the 4,700-square-foot building, which is located at 9480 W. Sahara Ave., on a net-lease basis.

Longmont, Colo. — Ziggi’s Coffee, with 21 café/drive-thrus across Colorado, Oklahoma and Arizona, plans to open in Pennsylvania, Iowa, Oregon and California — with 16 expected to open in 2020 — as it continues its expansion into new markets. Husband-and-wife-duo Brandon and Camrin Knudsen started the chain on Main Street and 4th Avenue in Longmont in August 2004. Ziggi’s has signed 43 franchisee agreements in seven states, according to Brandon.

Los Angeles — Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield plans to redevelop the long-vacated former Sears department store in the Canoga Park neighborhood of Los Angeles into a new dining and entertainment district. The empty store is located in the Westfield Topanga & The Village shopping center. Slated to open in late 2021, the new district will feature a chef-driven food hall, sit-down restaurants, lounges, cocktail bars, interior and exterior boutiques, and entertainment and recreational activities, as well as landscaped indoor and outdoor public spaces and plazas. Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Eyzenberg & Co. has arranged a $14.1 million acquisition loan for THEBlvd, a 42,000-square-foot entertainment, retail and restaurant building in Myrtle Beach. The property is located at 1410 N. Ocean Blvd., a mile north of downtown Myrtle Beach. Philadelphia — Victory Brewing Co. will open a 14,000-square-foot brewery and taproom in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia’s Center City. The facility will feature a production brewing system, kitchen, three bars, street-level outdoor seating and a rooftop patio. Victory’s first location in Downingtown opened in 1996, and the company operates two other locations in Parkesburg and Kennett Square. Jacksonville, Fla. — Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. has acquired Maple Street Biscuit Co. for $36 million in an all-cash deal. Maple Street’s portfolio comprised 28 company-owned and five franchise-owned restaurants in seven states at the time of sale. The company plans to convert its Holler & Dash Biscuit House into Maple Street Biscuit locations. Scott Moore and Gus Johnson founded Maple Street in Jacksonville in 2012. Moore will stay on as CEO and will report to Sandra Cochran, president and CEO of Cracker Barrel.

Atlanta and Champaign, Ill. — Inspire Brands Inc., the parent company of Arby’s, has agreed to acquire Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. Terms of the transaction, expected to close by the end of October, were not disclosed. The Jimmy John’s Board of Directors, including founder and chairman Jimmy John Liautaud, unanimously approved the agreement. Jimmy John’s had $2.15 billion in U.S. sales last year across 2,803 stores, a roughly 50 percent increase in both sales and locations since 2013, according to The Wall Street Journal.
