Wesley Chapel, Fla. — Ryan Cos. has opened a new Publix grocery store, which will serve as the anchor tenant of Innovations Commons, a retail center situated within the 900-acre Epperson Ranch master-planned development in Wesley Chapel. In addition to Innovations Commons, Epperson Ranch will feature single-family homes, a 200-room hotel and apartments. Innovation Commons will also include three outparcel developments for additional retail, restaurants and professional services.

Dallas — American Girl will open a 14,720-square-foot store next month at The Shops at Park Lane, a 33.5-acre mixed-use development in Dallas. In addition to the full range of American Girl dolls and accessories, the two-level store will feature a full-service café. Northwood Retail owns and operates The Shops at Park Lane.
Santa Ana, Calif. — Six new tenants have joined MainPlace, a three-story shopping center located in Santa Ana. Eateries Cali Licious Crab and Brews, Yogurt Bear and Delight now occupy 4,899; 253; and 1,031 square feet, respectively. LA Custom Apparel + Accessories and Fiesta Center have also joined the lineup, opening 6,326- and 2,199-square-foot stores. Deer Park, Ill. — Five new tenants have joined the tenant roster at Deer Park Town Center, a shopping center located in Deer Park, roughly 40 miles outside Chicago. Victoria’s Secret has opened a 4,965-square-foot store at the property, and Clean Juice, The Shade Store and Aerie are scheduled to open this spring, occupying 1,371; 1,550 and 4,500 square feet, respectively. Ancho & Agave will also open an 8,750-square-foot restaurant at the center this fall. JLL manages the property.
Miami — SG Holdings has completed leasing at Sawyer’s Walk, a 3.4-acre mixed-use development underway in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood. The project, which will feature retail space, offices and affordable housing for seniors, is set to open this summer. SG Holdings is a partnership comprising Swerdlow Group, SJM Partners and Alben Duffie. The development team broke ground on Sawyer’s Walk in summer 2021. Providence, R.I. — Entertainment concept Level99 has opened a new, 40,000-square-foot venue at Providence Place in Providence. Comprising 43 rooms, the facility offers interactive challenges as well as a restaurant, Night Shift Brewing Kitchen & Tap. Investment vehicle Act III Holdings, led by Panera Bread founder Ron Shaich, backs Level99. Brookfield Properties is the landlord at Providence Place.
Fredericksburg, Va. — Tropical Smoothie Cafe has signed a 1,500-square-foot, seven-year lease in Fredericksburg, roughly 50 miles outside Washington, D.C. The new store will be situated within Harrison Crossing Shopping Center, which is anchored by Giant Food, The Home Depot and Petco. Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Tropical Smoothie Cafe currently operates 1,150 restaurants throughout the U.S.
Wilmington, Del. — Aldi has signed a 10-year, 33,262-square-foot lease in Wilmington. The Germany-based grocer will occupy a property situated on 3.1 acres. Jim O’Hara and Neil Killian of NAI Emory Hill Real Estate Services represented the landlord, LBD Wilmington, in the lease negotiations. Jason Block of MCS represented Aldi.
Lexington, S.C. — Lowes Foods has signed a lease to anchor Platt Springs Crossing, a 50-acre mixed-use development currently underway in Lexington. Lowes Foods will occupy 51,000 square feet. Other tenants will include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Tidal Wave Car Wash, Panda Express and Planet Fitness. An affiliate of NAI Columbia doing business as LLDC Platt Springs LF LLC is the developer of the project, which is scheduled to begin opening early next year. Miami — Key Point Academy has signed a 62,000-square-foot lease at the 1501 Omni Building in Miami. Founded in 2013, Key Point will relocate from its current Miami location at 609 Brickell Ave. Jonathan Carter and Dave Preston of Colliers represented the landlord, Resorts World Omni, in the lease negotiations. Pablo Camposano of Colliers represented the tenant, and Michael A. Gil of Transaction Legal provided legal representation to Key Point Academy.
