Delray Beach, Fla. — Publix has opened a 45,000-square-foot store in Delray Square, a 150,000-square-foot retail center in Delray Beach. Delray Square was built in the 1970s and was recently renovated by The Keith Corp. Pet Supermarket, Chick-fil-A and Chipotle Mexican Grill are expected to open in the fall. AT&T, Elements Massage, Great Clips, Lee Nails, Mattress Firm, Metro Diner and Sola Salon Suites have all joined the tenant lineup, although a timeline for the retailers to move in was not disclosed. Los Angeles — Nike, Smart & Final Extra, Ross Dress for Less and Blink Fitness have all signed leases at Primestor Development’s Jordan Downs Plaza, a mixed-use project in Los Angeles’ Watts neighborhood. The four retailers will occupy nearly 75 percent of the retail component of the $5 billion project. Situated on 9.5 acres, the 113,000-square-foot asset is scheduled to be complete this fall. New Bern, N.C. — Columbia Development has signed leases with HomeGoods and Rack Room Shoes to anchor Phase II of New Bern Marketplace in New Bern, North Carolina, a town situated along the Neuse River near the Atlantic Ocean. HomeGoods will occupy 22,000 square feet of space while Rack Room Shoes will occupy 6,139 square feet. Phase II is underway with both stores expected to open in early 2020.
