Greenville, S.C. — Sprouts Farmers Market will open a 25,000-square-foot store at North Hills Shopping Center in Greenville. Originally built in 1975, the retail center is currently undergoing renovations including updates to facades, landscaping, patios, storefronts and parking lot repairs. Construction of the Sprouts is scheduled to begin this year, with the opening planned for 2024. This marks the second location for the brand in the Greenville market.  Aston Properties is the landlord.

Burke Town Center

Burke, Va. and Washington, D.C. — Pine Tree has assumed management of two retail properties located in metro Washington, D.C. Assignments include Cityline at Tenley in Washington, D.C., and Burke Town Center in Burke, Virginia. The addition of these properties, both of which are owned by Invesco Real Estate, brings Pine Tree’s total portfolio to more than 100 shopping centers.

Woodland Park, N.J. — JLL Capital Markets has brokered the $18 million sale of West Falls Plaza, a 90,945-square-foot shopping center located in Woodland Park, roughly 20 miles outside New York City. Tenants at the property include The Home Depot, Best Buy and Petco. Jose Cruz, J.B. Bruno, Kevin O’Hearn and Michael Zlotnick of JLL represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. An affiliate of Northeast Capital Group purchased the property.

Glenview, Ill. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $10.2 million sale of Shops at Glen Pointe in Glenview, about 20 miles northwest of Chicago. Tenants at the retail center, which comprises three buildings, include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Starbucks Coffee, Naf Naf Grill and AT&T. The property serves as an outlot to Mariano’s and LA Fitness. Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a local limited liability company. An Iowa-based investment group was the buyer.

Johns Creek, Ga. — Toro Development Co. (TDC) has announced leases with 11 tenants at Medley, a mixed-use project currently underway in Johns Creek, roughly 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. Upon completion, the development will include 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, as well as 900 residential units and 110,000 square feet of office space. Tenants will include Little Rey, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, AYA Medical Spa, Fadó Irish Pub, BODY20, Lily Sushi Bar, Lucciano’s Gelato, Sugarcoat Beauty, Summit Coffee, Knuckies Hoagies and Cookie Fix.

Twin Falls, Idaho — Wood Investments Cos. has announced the addition of three new tenants to Canyon Park West, a 160,140-square-foot retail center located in Twin Falls. Natural Grocers will open a 20,000-square-foot store at the property this fall. Additionally, Ashley HomeStore and Carter’s have signed leases totaling 18,000 and 4,084 square feet, respectively, and are now open at the center.

North Brunswick, N.J. — Azarian Realty Co. has negotiated a 9,746-square-foot retail lease at The Shoppes at North Brunswick in Northern New Jersey. Kevin Pelio of Azarian represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations. David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty & Development represented the tenant, Big Blue Swim School. The new lease brings Shoppes at North Brunswick to 94 percent occupancy.

Decatur, Ga. — Edens plans to transform North DeKalb Mall, an enclosed regional shopping mall in the Atlanta suburb of Decatur, into a 2.5 million-square-foot mixed-use development called Lulah Hills. Edens acquired the 622,297-square-foot mall in 2021 and rezoned the 73-acre site in 2022 to allow for mixed-use development. Upon completion, Lulah Hills will comprise 320,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 1,700 multifamily units, 100 townhomes and a 150-room hotel.
