The 55,650-square-foot building is located at 9229 Lincoln Ave. along Interstate 25, 17 miles south of downtown Denver. Thee undisclosed buyer is completing a 1031 exchange while the undisclosed seller is a private REIT. Randy Blankstein and Jimmy Goodman of The Boulder Group represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction. Albertsons Co. guarantees Safeway’s lease.

Newburyport, Mass. — JLL has arranged a $7.5 million refinancing loan for Pond Street Mall, a 28,164-square-foot retail center in Newburyport, located approximately 40 miles north of Boston. Centreville Bank provided the fixed-rate, non-recourse loan to the borrower, Quincy & Co., which will use the proceeds to repay an existing loan. Sterling Heights, Mich. — Out of the Box Ventures, a subsidiary of Miami-based Lionheart Capital, has acquired Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights. The purchase price was $26.5 million, according to Crain’s Detroit Business. Out of the Box Ventures plans to incorporate new uses to the property other than retail but has not disclosed specific plans. Topeka, Kan. — Darland Construction Co. has completed the conversion of a former Kmart store in Topeka into Wanamaker Hills Shopping Center. The 108,546-square-foot retail property is now home to Ulta, Old Navy, DSW, Five Below and Petco. Equity Investment Group, an Indiana-based developer, bought the property in 2014.
