This comes as part of the property’s transition to a mixed-use development, which included the opening of Chesnut Place, a 98-unit senior living facility. Stratton, Vt. — Big V Property Group has acquired The Village at Stratton, a 47,837-square-foot retail center in the Vermont ski resort town of Stratton. The Village at Stratton was fully leased at the time of sale to a roster of 20 tenants. Big V acquired the property as part of a portfolio sale that included The Village at Snowshoe in West Virginia and The Village at Copper Mountain in Colorado. The seller was not disclosed.

South Burlington, Vt. — A partnership between Taconic Capital Advisors and Eastern Real Estate has acquired University Mall in South Burlington, a city in northwest Vermont. Hummelstown, Pa. and Berlin Vt. — Heidenberg Properties Group is redeveloping two retail properties in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The Closter, New Jersey-based owner and developer is working to redevelop Hershey Square Shopping Center in Hummelstown and Berlin Mall in Berlin. Anchor tenant Kmart vacated 107,000 square feet within Hershey Square in March 2019.
