Las Vegas — Bally’s Corp. has announced plans for Bally’s Las Vegas, an entertainment resort destination planned on the 35-acre site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas hotel and casino. The casino and sports entertainment operator is partnering with JLL and Marnell Cos. on the development, which is being submitted to Clark County for entitlements. Bally’s Las Vegas will share the site with the new Las Vegas Athletics Major League Baseball ballpark, a move by the Oakland Athletics that was announced and approved in 2023. Dallas — Dallas-based pickleball-themed entertainment venue The Pickle Pad has signed a four-unit franchise agreement across four different markets including Oak Bridge, New Jersey; Port Arthur, Texas; Hoover, Alabama; and Tampa, Florida. The company currently has seven locations under development, while preparing to open three new venues in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; St. George, Utah; and Newport News, Virginia. While opening dates have not been announced, each location will feature multiple pickleball courts, food-and-beverage offerings, open green spaces and social and lawn games.

Lucky Strike Bowling

Richmond, Va. — Richmond, Virginia-based Lucky Strike Entertainment, operator of bowling alleys and entertainment venues, has purchased 58 of its existing locations for $306 million. The deal aims to reduce annual rent obligations, while eliminating the risk of future lease inflation, say company representatives. Lucky Strike will continue to operate each of the locations after the deal closes. The transaction was financed through a $230 million bridge facility under Lucky Strike’s revolving credit line, as well as cash on hand. Fayetteville, Ga. — Trilith Development plans to soon complete Trilith Live, a 530,000-square-foot live entertainment complex at the Town at Trilith, a 235-acre master-planned community in Fayetteville within south metro Atlanta. Dulles, Va. — Dallas-based PINSTACK, a dining and entertainment destination, will open a 56,000-square-foot venue within the 424-acre mixed used development of Kincora in Dulles, roughly 32 miles west of Washington, D.C. The venue will feature a full-service restaurant and bar, bowling lanes, an arcade, rock wall, high-ropes course, interactive games and simulator technology, bumper cars and private event spaces. North Richland Hills, Texas — Five Star Parks will open Malibu Jack’s North Richland Hills, a 137,000-square-foot indoor theme park located in the Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills. Bolingbrook, Ill. — Brookline Real Estate has partnered with Rhino Investments Group to renovate The Promenade Bolingbrook, a 778,000-square-foot shopping center located in the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook. Brookline has been hired to oversee leasing and lead a new vision for the open-air lifestyle center with a refreshed mix of retail, service, restaurants and experiential offerings. Miami — Los Angeles-based investment firm CIM Group and its development partners have officially opened Miami Worldcenter, a $6 billion mixed-use development in downtown Miami. CIM Group partnered on the project with Miami Worldcenter Associates, a development entity founded by Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani. The development spans 27 acres across 10 city blocks in the city’s Park West neighborhood and has generated nearly 9,000 jobs over the course of its construction and operation.
