The site, situated at 6891 Daniels Parkway, was fully leased at the time of the sale to tenants including Whole Foods Market, a salon, dentist, Pilates gym, dry cleaner, pet hospital and several fast-casual restaurants such as Mellow Mushroom and Panera Bread. Royal Palm Beach, Fla. — InvesTrust Properties Corp. has purchased Southern Palm Crossing, a Costco-anchored, 346,200-square-foot shopping center in Royal Palm Beach, for $97 million. Other tenants include Marshalls, HomeGoods and 24 Hour Fitness. The center is situated at 11001 Southern Blvd., 12 miles west of downtown West Palm Beach. The seller was not disclosed.

Miami Beach, Fla. — Whitman Family Development is planning a 300,000-square-foot expansion of Bal Harbour Shops, including a new Barneys New York location and three-story promenade. The company has received $550 million in financing to expand the iconic center in Miami Beach. The 463,114-square-foot mall is home to anchors Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. Miami-based Whitman Family Development will use $150 million of the loan to pay off an existing loan and $400 million to expand the center by 300,000 square feet, bringing the total to 763,114 square feet. …

Jacksonville, Fla. — The Ferber Co. has entered into a contract to acquire Brooklyn Place, a vacant building that sits on 1.5 acres in downtown Jacksonville. The initial tenant lineup at the 11,500-square-foot site includes Panera Bread and Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi. There is a 1,520-square-foot space available. Ferber expects the land acquisition to close this summer and will begin construction immediately after. Completion is scheduled for summer 2020. A sales price and seller for the land acquisition were not disclosed.
